Update on Ziptrak® Building at Tonsley

Who is Ziptrak®?

We are a proud South Australian family-owned and operated company and you are a big part of it! We are committed to our purpose of manufacturing a market-leading shade product that is known worldwide for its robust, reliable and innovative system adding value and comfort to people’s living environment.

Where and when is Ziptrak® moving location?

To provide all our customers with a better product and improved service, the building at Tonsley should be completed by August 2021 and Ziptrak® staff will move shortly after.

Who will be moving to the new Ziptrak® building?

The new Ziptrak® building has 3,000m2 to host manufacturing, assembly, distribution and office spaces. It will bring together all areas of our business: Engineering, Quality & Production, Warehouse, Finance and Marketing & Communications; improving our systems and processes.

Why Tonsley?

At Tonsley Innovation District we will be able to access and get better use of research being next to leading-edge Universities and education institutions; connecting and collaborating with local and international partners.

Why is Ziptrak® moving to a single custom-built location and how will I benefit?

To focus on our core capabilities of innovation, design, engineering and manufacturing is the main purpose of our move into the new building. Our team will concentrate on developing and improving the high quality and robust product that we have been known for more than 30 years, to continue adding value and improving the lifestyle of families and individuals in Australia and overseas.

Our new $10million specially designed building will incorporate new equipment, machinery and on-site testing facilities to allow testing larger products; listening and responding to the needs of our growing customer base.

The new strategic location allows easier access and contact with our local and national suppliers and our logistics and distribution partners. The new site will be crucial in improving turnaround times and reducing costs that will benefit our whole network.

Concentrating efforts on improving our marketing and sales tools, we will improve the support we provide to our network, optimising our resources to generate more leads for our customers.
