A pelmet is a protective cover fitted over the top of an outdoor blind. It conceals the fabric roll and internal components, shielding them from weather and environmental elements. Beyond protection, pelmets enhance the appearance of outdoor blinds. They integrate seamlessly with outdoor structures, creating a premium, built-in look.
Ziptrak® offers the Streamline Pelmet for both its Track-Guided and Cable-Guided Outdoor Blind Systems. Made from durable extruded aluminium, the fully enclosed design is engineered to withstand tough conditions and provide maximum insect protection —helping blinds maintain their appearance and operate smoothly for years.
While not essential for Track-Guided blinds, a pelmet is highly recommended, especially in exposed locations. For Cable-Guided blinds, a Streamline Pelmet is included as standard.
