Perfect Blockout Fabrics

Block out fabrics are ideal for privacy and light-blocking. Block out fabrics with white back coating are best for heat reflection and insulation.

Translucent Fabrics

Translucent does not mean transparent, these fabrics allow brightness and privacy during the day. Lighter fabric tones are best for heat protection.

Screen Fabrics

Screen fabrics offer glare and UV protection but zero privacy at night. Darker fabric tones are best for glare reduction and sharper views.

I had interior blinds for 4 years in previous apartment and recently had them installed in the bedrooms in my new place too. I love sleeping in complete darkness. They provide excellent blockout for daytime migranes too. So easy to operate, and can be left midway to block sun when viciously hot, or just leave down through day to keep out the heat. I chose clear anodised hardware this time and love it, it absorbs the lexicon white wall colour and pelmet looks almost invisible. Last time i went black to match window, and regretted choice. Installation was quick and neat.
